Directed by Professor Jay Scheib, the Performance Scenography Studio at MIT explores performance idioms across platforms that contribute to the blooming of social discourse while advancing meaningful entanglements with new and used technologies in the performing arts.
This studio advocates for the advancement of decision-making and belonging in a perhaps post-literary/post-creative world with a penchant for thrilling performances, groundbreaking technologies, and honest conversations.
Undergraduate Research Opportunity Programs (UROPs) are offered in the fall, spring, and summer months. Please contact Professor Scheib to express interest in participating or with any questions: jscheib@mit.edu.
