Performance Without Limits

The MIT Theater Arts program offers students rigorous, cross-disciplinary study in performance, directing, design, immersive storytelling, movement, creative placekeeping, and dramatic writing. Discovery drives our process—exploring foundational craft, inventing new forms, and coaxing embodied technologies into play. As creative leaders in their fields, MIT Theater faculty, visiting artists, and instructors collaborate with students on campus and around the world to create innovative performance works that investigate self, society, and the ways in which we connect with each other.
