Headshot of Maggie Moore.

Maggie Moore is the Director of Production for Theater at MIT.

Moore’s previous professional roles include two decades as the Director of Theater Operations at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), five seasons facilitating the American High School Theater Festival at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and acting as the Studio Manager for Ann Hamilton, both in her studio and for her national and international onsite installations.

Among Moore’s most memorable projects are her planning of a public parade featuring Little Amal, a twelve-foot-tall puppet that animated East Boston in support of the Refugee Project; her collaboration on Ann Hamilton’s site-specific installations; and her work with acclaimed artists like Sweet Honey in the Rock, Alicia and Jason Moran, Okwui Okpokwasili and Peter Born, and Faye Driscoll.

With a background in painting, set design, and project management, Moore is excited by the prospects of bridging the gap between an artist’s vision and its realization.
