Kevin Fulton is a Boston-based theater artist and lighting designer for theater, opera, and dance.

Fulton has designed lighting for Central Square Theater, Apollinaire Theater, Boston Conservatory Opera, Stony Brook Opera, Greater Boston Stage Co., Commonwealth Shakespeare Co., Actors’ Shakespeare Project, Arlekin Players Theater, and others.

Beyond lighting, Fulton creates theater using scenography as script. His most recent piece, A Catoptromancer, was a techno-séance that uses candles, mirrors, and projectors to explore the intersection of ghosts and artificial intelligence.

Fulton received his BA in Drama from Vassar College and his MFA in Lighting Design from Boston University. Originally from Denver, Colorado, Fulton has been in Boston for over a decade, and has worked with MIT Theater Arts since 2017.
