Joseph Lark-Riley is a theater artist who has worked as a freelance scenic designer and technical director in New Orleans, Chicago, New York, Tapei, and Florida.

In New Orleans, Lark-Riley has worked with NOLA Project, Southern Rep Theatre, and True Brew Theatre; in Chicago: Prop Thtr, Brain Surgeon Theater, Curious Theater Branch, Factory Theatre, Trap Door Theatre, The Artistic Home, and Silent Theatre; in New York: NAATCo, LookingGlass Theatre, Mabou Mines, and Anonymous Ensemble; in Taipei: Butterfly Effect Theatre; and in Florida at the Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse (CVP).

With his partner Liz Lark-Riley, Joseph co-founded miR theater in Rockledge, FL. From 2013-2015, the company served as a nonprofit organization dedicated to the development and presentation of original theatrical tellings of local stories.

Lark-Riley recently served as the resident Scenic and Sound Designer at Apollinaire Theatre Company in Chelsea, MA, where his work has earned two Elliot Norton Award nominations.
